Cloud keeps the online coordination information small, so you can find your place when you change devices.
Actual files in your chosen storage
Sync or back up file contents through the third-party storage you choose. The files do not enter OrbiFabric Cloud.
Optional online service
Cloud charges for continuously operated services. Choose it when those services help; local Bellfly and Packtell use needs no Cloud account.
Your files still have their own home.
OrbiFabric Cloud synchronizes file names and the minimum necessary notes. Actual files and file contents stay on your devices or in the third-party storage you choose; that storage handles file sync and backup. OrbiFabric Cloud has no file-byte upload capability by design. Seeing a file name does not mean this device can open the file.
Future direction: Bellfly away from the desk.
Remote work-status views and controlled requests are a future direction. They are separate from the cross-device file-name and note coordination described here; the Bellfly device would remain responsible for execution.
