Illustrative scenario

Finish the work. Keep more than the last answer.

Give Bellfly the goal and scope of a change. It manages your own AI agents, breaks down the tasks, and keeps the work record and results, reducing the need to direct every step. Packtell keeps the process documents, sources, decisions, versions, and deliverables together.

This fictional story is one possible combination, not an automatically chained workflow. Use the products in whatever way fits your work and life.

Where the old method breaks

The answer, terminal output, and final files live in different places.

By handoff time, someone has to reconstruct what was asked, which checks failed, what changed afterward, and which files are safe to use.

The destination drifts

A long conversation replaces the agreed result and limits.

A failed check disappears

The final response sounds complete even when evidence remains unresolved.

The handoff loses its story

Files survive, but the reason for a version and the next step do not.

One complete path

A path through the work.

  1. You

Set the result and the limits

Discuss the problem with a person or AI. Agree on the goal, scope, and limits, then give Bellfly the goal document.

  2. Bellfly

Let Bellfly manage the agent work

Bellfly analyzes the goal, breaks it into tasks, and calls your agents using your own AI subscriptions. It keeps work and checks visible without asking you to coordinate every step.

  3. You and Bellfly

Review the result and its evidence

Bellfly keeps the work record and outputs and can email you when the result is ready. You return to review the change, its checks, and any unresolved findings.

  4. Packtell

Keep the files with enough context

Keep the process documents, sources, decisions, versions, and results together in Packtell. Today’s handoff can still make sense months later.

What a useful result looks like

The next person receives a result, not a reconstruction exercise.

The handoff separates what was produced, what was checked, what remains uncertain, and where the useful files belong.

  • A checked result with unresolved findings left visible
  • A brief handoff note tied to the actual files
  • A collection of related files that keeps result files and future context together

Illustrative example

A handoff collection for “export invoices as CSV”

This is a content example, not a live product screenshot or customer case. It shows the shape of a useful handoff without claiming a particular integration.

Worth knowing

Assistance does not remove review, and Cloud is not required.

Bellfly does not promise that every task can run unattended or that every result is correct. Packtell does not replace the tools that edit the files.

  • Local pathBellfly and Packtell are complete local apps: free, open source, and account-free. Use either independently without Cloud.
  • Optional Cloud pathCloud synchronizes file names and necessary notes only. Actual files and file contents stay on your devices or in the third-party storage you choose; that storage handles file sync or backup.

Common questions

A few things you may wonder.

Does this require OrbiFabric Cloud?

Bellfly and Packtell are complete local apps: free, open source, and account-free. Use either independently without Cloud.

Does Bellfly guarantee that an AI-produced result is correct?

No. It makes work, checks, repair, and unresolved findings easier to distinguish; final judgment still belongs to the user.

Does Packtell replace Git or the application that edits a file?

No. It keeps user-owned files and their continuing context together. Domain tools remain responsible for editing or source control.
